Instead of retreating from attacks against Jewish settlement in Judea from these unelected authorities, we have decided to step forward as powerfully as possible. As this is the Shmitta (Sabattical) year, we will not be planting or working the Land. So in our continued quest to reconnect to the Land as indigenous Jews and protect southeastern Judea which is now under threat – we will be establishing a flock of sheep!
Not only will we traverse the Land and shepherd our flocks as our forefathers have, but these sheep will help secure our perimeter and ensure that our three communities – Arugot, Ibei Hanachal and Ma’ale Amos, remain united and contiguous.
