Archaeologist Dr. Dvir Raviv is uncovering a Second Temple era village in the heart of the Jewish town of Itamar, opposite Mounts Gerizim and Eival. Mikvaot, an olive press, whole pottery vessels and coins have been discovered and are undergoing analysis. The question is who lived here in what’s now called Khirbet Heiya. A sect of Jews?
