On today’s show Josh Hasten talks to Rabbi Guy Avihod, founder of Jerusalem’s Haboydem clothing stores about Tisha B’av. Rabbi Avihod says that while Jews may fight regularly, in person, on social media etc. it really means that they care about each other, and the fact that they care is a step in the right direction. But first, an interview with Marc Provisor, Head of Security Projects for the One Israel Fund which works to protect Jewish communities in Israel from the types of horrible attacks we saw in Halamish last week. The One Israel Fund is busy working to fill in the gaps and weak spots in and around Jewish communities throughout Israel in order to prevent further attacks. Their “No More Jewish Victims Campaign,” gives those who want to help protect Jews in Israel, the opportunity to do so from anywhere around the world.
