Tests are a means of spiritual elevation, expanding one’s faith and trust in God, and ultimately leading to transformation and a greater role in the divine plan. This process of growth and self-discovery is central to the human experience and our relationship with God.
Abraham’s tests were not for God to learn about Abraham, but for Abraham to discover more about himself and grow in faith. It is a journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth, where each test helps Abraham move out of his comfort zone, expanding his trust in God and ultimately transforming into a person capable of great faith and righteousness.
Like Abraham, we are faced with the choice of embracing or resisting transformation through faith. Growth requires stepping out of one’s comfort zone and trusting in the divine purpose behind challenges.
