Eve Harow is in New York this week, celebrating the freedom to speak, travel, visit and work. She interviews Rachel Pill, a friend and psychotherapist in the Jewish religious world. They talk about domestic abuse and the importance of healthy marriages and relationships and life cycle situations including recovery from cancer. Women have a unique voice and capabilities complementary to men but focused differently. The new women’s division of One Israel Fund is a case in point, getting involved in projects that speak to women specifically. Rachel’s bravery in taking the secrecy factor away as a facilitator of dysfunctional behaviors has come at a price. Her deep faith is an integral part of her strength and ability to heal some broken worlds.
