Rejuvenation: 21st Century Spirit in the Sand: From Gaza to Halutza

Yedidya Harush lost his childhood home when Israel unilaterally left Gaza and destroyed its 21 communities in 2005. He tells Eve Harow of Shlomit, Nave and Bnai Netzarim- new towns the refugees built in the Halutza Sand Dunes on Israel’s southern border in the corner of Gaza and Sinai. The hard work, the heat, the hope and the global partnerships. Pineapples and pomegranates and beautiful children are thriving in inert sand. Who says the age of open miracles has passed?
