Israel on Sunday released Jordanian member of parliament Imad al-Adwan, who was caught smuggling hundreds of weapons into Israel. Despite the fact that it’s very likely that the guns were sold to Israel-hating terrorists, the government decided to send the MP back home. On today’s Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten argues that giving this MP a hall pass, and allowing him to go home where he will probably just get a slap on the wrist, is a sign of weakness, which Israel’s enemies will seize upon. Hasten says the same holds true with Israel’s decision this week to allow the families of the terrorists who murdered the three members of the Dee family HY”D to recover their bodies. He argues that Israel must establish a true deterrence in the face of the threats surrounding the Jewish State.
