They met incredible women running security ‘situation centers’; being immensely creative in many spheres; sharing the challenges of life with husbands at war or wounded or worse; holding the land via their ranches; fixing whatever needs to be fixed; willing to be brutally honest about their lives.
It was an exhausting and exhilarating experience.
