After journeys through the geographic and spiritual realms, Ari & Jeremy return to the airwaves with this program about inspiration, service, obedience, and joy.
You have hit the nail on the head with America. I have listened to your show for about a year now. I have been a Christian all my life and have known that we serve the same God, even though I know our differences in Messiah. However, I have always been drawn to Jews and the Jewish/Hebrew roots of my faith. I am done with American culture, and the escape occurs in the heart, although my family does live in the country as well (NO city living for us!). My best friend as a child was Jewish (father); her mother was Christian (we lived in New York state). I went to a party with her at temple and dressed up as Miriam. She gave me one of her Hebrew workbooks and I learned how to write my name in Hebrew, etc; was always jealous at Hannakuh because of all her presents- lol. Later in life, my daughter could never read enough about the Holocaust and learning about the history of the Jewish people and God’s preservation. For the last 4 years, my son-in-law has been challenging me to learn more about the Torah and my Hebrews roots of my faith. They got married in a very blended Jewish wedding- based on the Torah. I am rambling and could go on and on, but YES, there is an awakening among Christians here in America (we were NEVER taught the Torah- sad). YES, we are SOOOO drawn to Jerusalem and unification when Messiah returns! ALL nations will bow down to Messiah. We LOVE our fellow Jewish brothers. We LONG for Jews to really be a light to the world as has always been their calling. We read about the land of Israel, and support the land belonging to the Jews (NO 2 state solution! Hence we did NOT want Hilary, but did want Trump and hope he continues to support Israel.) Do I grieve for Jews in America because they are only Jews in name only- I celebrated Passover last year (as best I knew how) and invited my Jewish friend (here in OHIO) because she no longer celebrated Passover at College. Your questions, your show, the challenges, the embracing of bringing Jews back to Jerusalem- it is prophecy! That is coming soon, and there are many of us who feel very connected to Jews as the aliens in your land, but embracing Torah. We embrace that we are grafted into your nation and hence are blessed as you are by trying as best we can to observe and embrace the Torah and God’s love and blessings in our lives through obedience, holiness, and setting ourselves apart as spoken in the Torah. We also embrace Jesus as Messiah, as you know, but only have recently realized that HE WAS JEWISH! Wow, what a revelation for a Christian (sounds crazy, right??!), and amazing to tie our faith to the Old Testament. I’m not worried about that difference because one day all of our questions will be answered as we all worship Messiah together face to face. We serve the same God, and I am learning so much more about who He is and how He wants to be worshiped. It all falls into place now. Your show has been so helpful to my growth. Thank you. Thank you for all of your light and for embracing that calling as a Jew, the chosen nation for God’s light and honor! Stay true to your Jewishness- to Jerusalem, to God, to your light. DON’T be sucked up by the American culture (LA)- it is very aluring, but it is a lie and empty on truth. I pray for you, and many Americans are praying for you and Jerusalem/Israel. You are God’s chosen people as a light to the nations.
Hope some of that made sense. Just about every day I could carry on a conversation with you, or Ari, or Eve, Rabbi, but this is the first time I’ve got my thoughts on paper.
