Help a Lost Tribe of Israel Return to Zion!

Bnei Menashe

If there were a chapter written in the Tanach about the return of the Jewish People to the Land of Israel in our days, our dear friend Michael Freund would be a pivotal character involved in ingathering the exiles from the four corners of the earth.

Here is something really amazing: after 2,700 years of wandering in Exile, the Lost Tribe of Bnei Menashe is coming home from India to Jerusalem!

The Bnei Menashe are descendants of the tribe of Manasseh, one of the 10 lost tribes of Israel who were exiled from the Land of Israel by the Assyrian empire. Despite their long sojourn, they never forgot who they were or where they came from, and they nourished the dream of one day returning to the land of their ancestors.

Now, with the help of our friend Michael Freund and his organization Shavei Israel (www.shavei.org), the dream of the Bnei Menashe to make aliyah is about to become a reality.

In the coming months, Shavei Israel will be bringing the first batch of 274 Bnei Menashe immigrants home to the Jewish state, with the remaining 7,000 members of the community slated to move here over the next 5 to 6 years. Over the past decade, more than 1,700 Bnei Menashe have already moved to Israel.

This is an incredible miracle – just as the prophets foretold, the Lost Tribes of Israel are now returning. But Michael and Shavei Israel need our help to make it a reality. You can help by sponsoring an immigrant and helping to spread the word. Together, we can strengthen Israel by bringing the Bnei Menashe back to Jerusalem.
